Jessica Roth

Hello my name is Jessica Roth and I am a hairstylist at the Knick Salon and Spa. I graduated from Madison Cosmetology College in March of 2007. I learned the fundamentals of hair design, skin and nails. While taking the program there I was top of my class and student council president. During my school career I worked as a makeup artist for Clinique Cosmetics giving me a great feel for determining complimentary hair and skin coloring.

Directly following graduation I moved to Milwaukee where I studied under renowned hairstylist Munem Abukhameir. Munem Abukhameir is a Redken direct educator and was most recently invited by Vogue magazine to do the hair for 2010 fashion week in New York. Working as an assistant I was able to learn advanced color technique and precision hair cutting. This opportunity gave me the ability to deal with many hair textures and lengths. There are many things I took away from this amazing experience but the one thing I will always remember is to have respect and integrity with every client I see.

After finishing my apprenticeship I continued education by becoming Aveda color certified and taking several Bumble and Bumble classes under Dana Gonzalez B&B educator and master stylist. Most recently I became certified to do the Brazillian Blowout and Keratin Express treatments.

Throughout my career I've had the opportunity to work on several photo shoots and fashion shows. Being able to see my work in print has given me a direct edge while working with wedding parties. I look forward to working more in the fashion industry as the opportunies present themselves.

I will continue to grow and utilize any educational opportunities that become available. Using new technology and technique I will always be dedicated to bringing my clients the best solutions for their individual needs and unique look.
